Friday night was supposed to be a great night for the Camelopardalid meteor shower…

it was clear, so I set my alarm to get up at 1:30 am… best time here was supposed to be from 1 to 3…

took a blanket and pillow out and saw one shooting star as I was setting up my spot…

stayed out there for an hour or so without seeing anything… the weather was beautiful and warm so it was cozy…

eventually I decided to have a hot tub, which was lovely, and then went back to bed…

tonight as I was working on this post I found this from the torontosun.comNot many people got to see the Camelopardalid meteor shower. It was that estimated more than 200 meteors per hour were expected to drop. Unfortunately, only a few meteors spotted during that two-hour time period of the storm.
