on the walk to the hairdresser I took a few pictures of flowers and plants along the lane…
looks a lot better than my weed filled area, lol…
got the haircut and walked back home…
then lazed around the house and garden for the rest of the day🙂…

had a lovely walk to the English and Leo Mol Gardens, where I met up with my adventure buddy…
as I waited, I sat with the woman who spends all her time reading… I wasn’t able to see the name of the book, lol…
the gardens are looking much nicer than the last time we walked through them, although everything is still a bit behind…
after we’d been around both areas, we popped over to the Park Cafe and had the Berry Good Sundae, which we had enjoyed just the week before when we were there for a birthday celebration;-)…
tasted like a lovely treat after all that walking in the heat;-)…
then a walk home… and a nap😄…

on my walk from the car to The Leaf, I loved the yellow carpet over many of the fields…
and came upon a painted turtle…
it was very far from any water, and once it spotted me, it turned and headed towards the field…
a great surprise to start my shift;-)…

went for a walk to the English Garden on Thursday morning… it was so windy that I couldn’t wear my hat, and my scarf ended up with the tails blowing behind me…
had a little break beside Sargent Sundae as I waited for my walking buddies…
hadn’t been yet this spring so it was interesting to see the state of the gardens as it has not been long since the snow melted…
the gardens were clean and tidy, but not much was growing yet, lol…
we did come across some photographers who were looking for birds;-)…
the most fun was counting the frogs by the pergola… in just a few minutes I saw at least twelve…
got all my steps in between walking to, around, and home from the Gardens…

went for a walk the other morning and admired the gorgeous trees…
I’m not sure if it was hoarfrost, or rime, or something else, but it was beautiful…
the ones on my street were lovely;-)…
this one was clearly snow but beautiful nonetheless;-)…
and this morning there was more beauty…

had a lovely day with my buddies…
we spent time at WAG/Qaumajuq checking out the various galleries;-)… so much to see…
this piece of art was the only one I took a photo of, and apparently a bit crooked, lol…
from there we walked over to the White Star Diner for lunch… fun time and tasty food…
we do love celebrating birthdays😊…

another lovely walk along the Harte Trail on Remembrance Day afternoon…
it felt like -4° Celsius and there was a bit of wind although the sun was shining brightly…
we walked a little bit past the distance we did last time…
we spotted two deer and watched them for a few minutes before they bounced along the ditch beside the path…
we were dressed for the cold and were very comfortable… then this person passed us;-)…
I guess different strokes for different folks…
