was supposed to rain, so I got up early and had a peaceful hot tub to start the day…

then into the garden to read and enjoy a cup of tea…

lately I’ve been using a travel mug so that my tea doesn’t get filled with elm seeds, lol, although I think they are just about finished raining down from the trees…

some areas of the garden are stunning, while others need work…

spent a bit of time preparing five pounds of potato salad for the nine year old’s birthday party tomorrow…

never did rain but a few times there was thunder and spectacular clouds…
