while the kids were here the grandfather clock was stopped…

they found the sound disturbing, particularly during the night…

I have lived with it for so long that I don’t even hear it, unless it isn’t going…

this morning I got it ringing again… sounds like an old friend is back…

makes me think of the clock ticking down to New Year’s…

kids in Ottawa are having friends over… kids here have gone to some friends…

I am home thinking of the past year and looking forward to the next one…
