couldn’t get any pictures of the chickadees and nuthatch on Tuesday, but got a few good shots on Wednesday just after the kids arrived… apparently they brought some good luck…

not only did we get the nuthatch and chickadees, but we also caught a woodpecker at the feeder…

that was excellent… I’d seen the nuthatch, but the woodpecker was a great surprise…

today, I pulled a chair up to the window and sat there with my phone for quite a while as I had seen the birds flitting to and fro, but not a one would come by so I could get something on my phone, lol…

we’ve had a lazy, relaxing day… kids slept in and we walked over to The “A” for the breakfast special… walked from there to the grocery store, and home with the fixings for our dinner…

feeding has been an important part of the day, lol… finished making turkey soup, which we had for our lunch… sat and visited for the rest of the afternoon…

topped off the day with steak and lobster and macadamia clusters which I had picked up at least a couple of months ago, so that I would have then when the kids arrived…

none for me, but I did have one delicious little shortbread cookie…
