last night on my way out for a hot tub, I got this picture of the moon with my phone…

spent quite a bit of time in the tub as my head was very unhappy…
this morning I got this shot of the moon with my camera on the tripod…
moon set this morning…
head is still not happy… gonna try the hot tub again…

got up fairly early and headed to Safeway around 8… hardly anyone there at that hour so the shopping was lovely… there were people to answer my questions and help me out… got a nice turkey and turnip and a few other bits and pieces for Monday’s Thanksgiving dinner with Crystal and all the boys… we are planning to do a bit of yard work as well…
spoke with both of my girls, put everything away, did a few chores and then watched tv and napped…
it has been windy here for two or three days and today was drizzly off and on… had to put my morning glory pot back on the deck because the wind had blown it over this morning… yikes… that pot is very heavy…
beautiful pink sky and autumn leaves…
tonight I looked out the upstairs window to see a magnificent pink sky above all the beautiful fall coloured trees… got a nice pic…
then I looked the other way and got a nice pic of the moon peaking through the completely bare tree next door…

been watching the sunflower plant and it is not following the sun… we think it might be that the sun is reflected in the living room window and it is confused about which way to turn… every day the centre is growing and changing…

had a very relaxing day… watched a few cooking shows this morning…
spent some time making corn chowder and tidying up the kitchen… chowder came out very nice…
spent the remainder of the day reading… lovely to be able to read and nap and read some more…
boiled some small potatoes with dill and a few fresh peas to go along with the little bit of leftover roast from last night and also produced a little cucumber and tomato salad…

had a quiet morning around the house… actually put away all the glass balls from the Champagne Bubble Party…
we had a storm which started with lots of thunder and then the sky opened and it poured for maybe ten minutes… watched some TV and made myself a few things to eat…
waiting to move the car seat…
then Crystal and the little boys came, transferred the car seat to my car and we went for a wander through Shelmerdine’s where we enjoyed some fall flowers and checked out mulch and many pumpkins… came across a colleague who looked stunning, having just been to a wedding out that way…
there weren’t very many folks around so the little people ran about checking out all the pumpkins and the trees and bushes…
we went to the market garden and picked up some lovely fresh veggies… we got corn on the cob, peas, yellow and green beans, green onions, garlic, tiny and medium sized potatoes, cauliflower and radishes…
when we got home we put a little roast on the barbecue and prepared yellow beans, corn, potatoes and a caesar salad for our dinner… it was lovely… sadly the littlest person is going through the no meat phase, although both of his brothers went down that path long before he did… while the roast and potatoes were just finishing the propane ran out on the barbecue so Jeff put a new tank on… should I have the desire to barbecue, there will be fuel, lol…
after supper we read a book and then everyone went home and I had a little nap… when I got up the moon was smiling at me through the tree and I took a couple of pictures…

since then I have been in the hot tub and enjoyed watching a beautiful star filled sky…
what a lovely day…

wasn’t going to do anything today… a day to rest, as tomorrow and Sunday will be busy…
last night before bed I took some nice shots of the moon through some trees behind the house… I had been on my way to bed but it was so beautiful that I had to run and get my tripod and camera and take a few pictures…

so this morning when I woke up to fog, I took some pictures of that as well…
had a lovely time cleaning out a portion of a closet… it was great fun to pack stuff up to give away, dump things into the recycling and garbage and find some space…
then I called and booked an appointment for a hair cut and purple and got in right away… took my camera when I headed out because there was gorgeous hoarfrost on the trees…

after my hair appointment I drove through Assiniboine Park and took some pictures… later I spent quite a while on the computer uploading the pictures and organizing…

driving through the Park reminded me of the fun George and I would often have there… I took pictures of some trees that we often stopped at…
it was a lovely day… very re-creational…
