this morning I got a picture of a flower on one of the plants in the pond… don’t know what it was and it was a lovely surprise because I wasn’t expecting any flowers…

and it was purple, lol… how serendipitous…

on top of that I got a few pictures of some of the bigger baby fish, likely the oldest group…

when I arrived home tonight the flower was off the plant and in the water… sure glad I took the picture when I did…

the final treat was purple cone flower blossoms…

these always ended up gone after one season because George was sure they were weeds when they would come up in the spring…
