had a great sleep last night and as I was heading downstairs saw this lovely view outside…

the leaves were a beautiful shade of yellow…

spent most of the day resting but I did work on some chicken soup…

not quite done yet…

this afternoon my pond guy came by and put in a new pump…

it looks good, so far… we’ve decided to take out the uv filter and try putting a skimmer in beside the pond to collect algae and other debris… the thought is that it will be outside of the pond where I can get to it easily… this likely won’t happen until the spring… the fish are still happy outside but soon they will need to come in to their winter condo…

while out there I got a few pictures of some flowers that are still hanging on.. sadly we’ve already had a few frosts…

no sun today, maybe tomorrow…
