well, today was more like it… second day of my .9 time and a beautiful one…

slept in a bit and had a leisurely breakfast… headed out and got a few errands done… even booked an oil change for the car…

new shoes, bra, swimsuit and groceries…

  
nice haul… once I got home I took a walk around the creek…

saw a wood duck couple and got a few pictures…

  
very exciting because we’ve only seen mallards in the creek… the mallards have been nesting here for the last thirty years…

  
here’s the fella… beautiful…

later, spent a bit of time weeding the front flower bed… the rubber mulch isn’t doing quite what I was hoping for… grass is still coming through, sigh…

  
beautiful day… looking forward to many more like it:-)…

today was the first day of my .9 time, so I was home…

was looking forward to running a few errands, maybe even working in the garden… but woke up to this…

  

really!!! and it was cold and windy…

got dressed and was ready to head out but then decided that I didn’t really need to run those errands…

 

so, I took off those clothes, stayed abed and watched tv all day… 

warmed up a lovely dinner of last night’s leftovers…

had tea with one of my BS buddies, and climbed into bed…

it was nice to do nothing after the busy weekend of birthday activities…

very full day…

started this morning when I went through the closet and colour-blocked the clothes… in the process filled another pass-me-over box…

lots of purple, lol…

also made another arrangement of flowers… decided I want some in every room…

ordered lunch from my favourite dimsum restaurant before heading out to do errands… I love shrimp dumplings and stuffed eggplant and it was delicious and filled me up…

beautiful temperature out and on my way home took this picture of the water at the end of the street…

picked up a cute wine rack… now have to fill it… put everything away, had a nap and watched some tv…

have added some chemicals to the hot tub, but had to stop when the snow started coming down like crazy…

great supper of leftovers… now to decide whether to go out for a hot tub in all that fresh snow, or not, lol…

lots to do today… the kids came over around noon and we went to run some errands…

I learned how to get the car washed… it was quite different than the last time I went with George… at that time you had to drive the car onto a track… now you leave the car and they put it onto the track… didn’t take very long for it to be run through…

then we went to Costco… after all the shopping and filling the shopping cart I discovered that my card didn’t work… it had been under George’s work and had expired in March… we had to wait in line for quite a while and then couldn’t get an actual card because their camera was down…

just about did me in… was embarrassed and tremendously sad…

few more errands and we were home… Jeff changed the tires and put on the pretty ones, lol…

had steak and lobster for dinner to celebrate getting into the French IB program…

tonight the moon is nearly full…
