I am now taking pictures of everything I eat…

people tease me on a regular basis as I am taking the pictures…

that’s okay, because taking the pictures helps me remember what I have eaten…

for the next few months I have to write down what I am eating and using the pictures helps me remember… I don’t always have time to write it down as I prepare/sit down to a meal…

besides recording what I eat, I have to take blood sugars at breakfast, lunch and bedtime… and record them as well… taking them means poking one of my fingers, sigh..

I am getting used to it and am doing well… the doctor was impressed with how the numbers have come down and how well I am eating…

missing sugar in my tea, but getting used to drinking it with milk… so far, leaving chocolate alone hasn’t been difficult… my biggest craving is chips and they are on the not to eat list…

I am supposed to experiment and see what happens when I eat different things… maybe chips might make it to that testing list, lol…

I’m very lucky that they made the diabetes diagnosis early, and that diet and exercise should be all I need to do to take care of it…

energy level is come back…
