yesterday a friend dropped off a purple parcel for me…

in it were two packages… the first was wrapped in foil and was filled with five beautiful scones… still warm from the oven…

the second was also wrapped, but in purple paper… in it was a lovely tea mug with a strainer…

I barely unwrapped the scones before I buttered one, put jam on it and scoffed it down…

the mug is clean now and ready for some loose tea;-)…
