Spring is here and it is time to get out of the house and into the garden… almost…
so, I played with the houseplants today…
trimmed a few and moved some as well…
can’t wait to get into the garden;-)…

had a bit of fun moving plants around…
I’ve started to bring some of the houseplants in from their summer vacation in the garden…
the mandevilla came in and then plants from around the house were rearranged…
more will be coming in so I will have to decide where they will all go…

Wednesday is watering day and it is a treat to wander around feeding the various plants… currently they all reside on the main floor in different rooms…
I enjoy taking the time to remove dead leaves, watch for new flower buds, turn them as needed, and move them around as they (and I) need…
and, of course, chatting with them the whole time, lol…
brings me such happiness;-)…

the plants in the basement were not doing well, so they were moved upstairs…
they, along with some others that had been on the dining room table, moved into the den…
it looks like a garden in there now;-)… a lovely cheery location to start the day…

I’ve collected all my egg shells since I read about using them to add nutrients to plant water…
they have to be crushed, but I was worried that if I used my food processor they might dull the blade, so decided to put them in a bag and use a wooden spoon to crush them…
the bag sits on the counter and every time I go by it I use the wooden spoon and smack it a few times…
kind of cathartic;-)…
