today the three fish in the bathtub pond moved into their winter condo… one of the rocks that had been in that pond was also brought in to provide a tunnel for the fish…

the tanks have been filled and running since September 30th, although the biggest one has a lot of algae in it so these fish will be testing whether it is ready for inhabitants…

we will likely wait another week or so before moving the rest of the school…

so far, they appear happy;-)…

doing the happy dance…

Monday, the weather was perfect for being in the garden and my middle grandson came over and worked on the most current project… the soil in this garden bed kept sliding down and covering the stepping stones…

he removed some miscellaneous rocks, dug a trench and then, with my oldest grandson, moved and placed large rocks, which were located all around the garden…

it was interesting to watch as they decided together which rock worked and looked best where…

with my direction, of course…

the rock wall looks good…

so pleased that this project, which has been on my list for quite some time, is now completed…

spent a little time in the pond Sunday afternoon…

for whatever reason (that I can’t figure out) the pump at the end seems to keep tipping up… I decided to put a fair-sized rock in to hold the edge of the pump down and give the fish somewhere to hide under, other than the bridge, lol…
