view out the window during our BS gathering tonight… was compelled to get up and take a few pictures of the sky…

  
had a wonderful time… the five of us haven’t all been together for a couple of months… there have been vacations to California, Florida, Costa Rica, the West Coast and Cuba, work trips to Saskatchewan, and family visits which have affected us…

we have been gathering for many years and continue to enjoy every opportunity we have to spend time together…

tonight we must have spent an hour trying to find a day and time for a birthday celebration… we may have to start having one for everyone at once as we are all so busy…

always feel filled up at the end of Monday evenings…

first thing I saw when I stepped outside this morning…

  
as I drove to work the sun came in and out of view in the overcast sky… was very happy to be able to stop at the end of the street and get a shot of it… kind of hard to tell that actually is the sun, lol…

 
after work I drove home with my visor down to protect my eyes from the bright sun…

saw some beautiful cloud formations…

  
again, very lucky to have a red light so that I could take the picture…

tonight I read about how a young friend had a conversation about what clouds look like with their child on their way home today… they were probably looking up at the same time as I was…

still cold and windy, but the snow has gone…

amazing what you can see over the course of the day if you take the time to look…

lovely drive to work… the sky was amazing and luckily I stopped at a red light and got a quick picture…

  

took a short walk at noon and climbed the stairs at the Hydro Building… on my way out I took a shot of one of the water walls…

 

the sound is spectacular…

noticed a lot of fire trucks downtown today…

ran a few errands and found another great card in the mail when I got home… 

beauty is everywhere… glad I had a few opportunities to enjoy it today…

excellent day…

met my grandson for lunch and had a good visit… we ran an errand before he headed back to the bus and home…

the sky was amazing as we left the office at the end of the night… sun through the clouds was lovely…

as I was driving home the sun was setting and it was beautiful…

got this shot while I was on the phone with my daughter…

  

the yellows and oranges were quite stunning…

pinks were lovely… 

always amazes me how in just a few seconds the sky can change from beautiful shades to black…

was fasting for blood work this morning so I had a bit of extra time as I wasn’t rushing to get breakfast eaten……

got some shots of the fish tank which is finally clearing up after about two weeks of serious merkiness…

  

and was very excited to see the leaves starting up on the Japanese Maple…

  

as we were heading downtown the sky was spectacular…

  

beautiful start to a Friday…

and the day ended as I walked home along the street and got a few pictures of the creek slightly frozen over…

looking forward to some warmer weather over the weekend…

was pleased to get the blood work done today as I see the doctor next week and we will be able to review my A1C numbers… anticipating that they will be much better than the last time they were taken…

lots to think about…

before I left home this morning I wound the clock…

usually I can tell when it needs winding because it starts to ring and chime rather slowly…

  

I try to keep it going most of the time… 

except when my kids are staying here… then, I have to stop it so the chiming doesn’t make them crazy, lol… I don’t hear it at night but for others it is quite disruptive to sleep patterns…

it belonged to my parents and it was one of the things I brought home so it has been on that wall for over twenty five years… guess that’s why I don’t always hear it…

was able to take the time this morning to catch a shot of the sky…

the sky has been outstanding the last few weeks…

tonight, as we left the office, it was so pink and blue that it was hard to take my eyes off it…

when I got home I dropped my stuff at the front door, turned and got this shot…

just stood and enjoyed the beauty… it was also ridiculously warm so it was easy to stand and watch the sky…

then, when I got upstairs and looked out the window, I had to take another picture…

this morning the sky was absolutely beautiful… took many pictures on the way to work… it was mesmerizing…

a bit later in the morning I ran across the street to pick up some milk and cream for our coffee… as I was walking back I was compelled to take a picture of Emptyful… could see some great reflections in the new police building…

I stopped for a haircut and then walked home in the crisp evening air… made it home just before the light went…

early morning hot tubs are becoming a Sunday pattern…

this morning I took out my phone and took a few pictures right from the tub…

IMG_8997.JPGit was lovely… for the first five minutes the jets weren’t going so I could hear the quiet and watch the squirrel make his rounds to collect peanuts…

ran out to do a few errands and picked up a pastry for my lunch… it was delicious…

IMG_8998.JPGsun shone for the majority of the day although the clouds filled the sky in the early evening but it didn’t rain, so that was good…

a young friend stopped by so that I could get some baby snuggles… she has twins, but only brought the little guy… the little girl had gone out with her daddy…

started the day very early and the moon was bright…

IMG_8857-0.JPGtonight as I was heading to aquasize I took this shot of the sky… very nice…

IMG_8858.JPGwas very careful not to do any twisting there after last week… from Friday to Sunday my back was in bad shape… if I sat for any length of time I could barely walk… laying down helped a bit but then when I got up it would still bother me… luckily I was able to take it easy and by Sunday evening it was much better…

so I was extra careful tonight to not twist…

hope it works out okay… guess I will see tomorrow…
