feeling as though I haven’t been eating properly… so tonight I baked a chicken leg and thigh, with eggplant slices, and sweet potatoes… and made a cucumber and onion salad…

was rather pleased with myself… and it was very good…

after supper I peeked outside and saw this lovely sky…

not long before that the sky had been gray and rain had been falling… nice change…

very happy that a young friend had come by on Monday and raked the yard for me… still lots to do, including putting the six bags of leaves out for pick-up…

a bit of rain would certainly be good for the grass and the plants…
