on Sunday we took a trip to Safeway to find some spring plants… this is the time of year that I need lots of things blooming around me…

we found individual pots of hyacinth and crocus… then a pot with tulips, daffodils, primrose, and hyacinth in it… I got them all, lol…

I am enjoying watching them as they open and anticipating the scent;-)…

the time is flying by and on Tuesday we were already halfway through Advent…

I have been enjoying all my treats and am looking forward with anticipation to the next ones;-)…

I took this photo of the calendar hanging on the living room wall that had the first two rows turned around to remind me that they have been opened…

and the stairway is looking rather bare, with the bottom steps cleared of their gift boxes…

both, a reminder of how quickly time passes and to make the most of each moment you have;-)…

revelling in the wonderful treats I have already received, as each day provides an opportunity to reflect on how blessed I truly am…

received three more amaryllis bulbs and got right to getting them in the soil…

used a coffee filter in the bottom of the pot and then added the soil that came with each one…

they look cute all lined up in the sunshine;-)…

as with this one in the living room, which has a bud on it now, they will have a quarter turn each day…
