today marks eight years at my current place of employment…

while the girls were small I was able to stay home… it was a special time and we were very lucky to make that work…

so I’ve worked outside the home for the last twenty years or so…

most of that time it has been in the not-for-profit environment…

joining this organization in September of 2009 was a great fit…

over the years I have been allowed to reinvent my position and focus on the things that I enjoy and have the skills and interest in…

this doesn’t always happen in the workplace…

I work with an amazing group of people and consider myself very lucky…
