made it to the Wolseley Farmers Market today…

on the walk from the car to the market, spotted this sweet bumblebee on some purple flowers;-)…

I was so happy to find little cucumbers and green beans… and we got some lamb chops and bacon…

as soon as we arrived home I prepared half of the beans and then cooked and ate them…

my housemate was happy for me to have them all, lol…

what a treat…

yesterday a friend brought me a large bag of fresh green beans…

this morning while I was watching a tv show I trimmed them all and put some into two pots…

I cooked the first batch for my lunch…

then the second for supper, with a few leftovers for tomorrow…

they were delicious…

I do love fresh veggies;-)…

first thing I went out and watered everything with my fabulous hose…

discovered some flowers in one of the pots on a plant that looked like a potato vine… very cute…

stopped on the way home and picked up a few things for supper…

was very happy to see beautiful local green beans…

between getting the supper ready I did laundry…

as I was cutting the beans I sliced right into my thumb… ouch…
