had a busy day yesterday… makes me laugh, because usually my days are quietly spent at home reading and watching tv…

started with our aquasize class in the morning… even though it was very cold outside… lots of fun as the session was filled with holiday music that many sang along to…

from there we were off for lunch at the Falafel Place… perfect timing as most people were nearly done as we arrived… had falafel with hummus and salad… it was yummy…

home to spend time listening to Christmas music and reading…

then, a dear friend came by with fish and chips for our dinner… and brought Christmas presents;-)…

I was so excited to spend time with them that I completely forgot to take a photo of my meal, lol…

after we finished our dinner we had cookies and a wonderful visit…

I am so blessed with fabulous friends 🥹…

tonight I attended a seminar on Twitter for Business… I signed up for Twitter about a year ago and have tweeted all of 36 times, lol…

the class was great…  I learned some basics from @cendrinemedia in a fun and interactive manner… while we were looking at her page the tweets were racing down the screen…

I think I learned enough to understand the basics and really start tweeting on a regular basis… there is a lot to learn but Cendrine encouraged us to keep the handout filled with the information she shared, and just get started…

tomorrow we have our blogging conference – MBlog2014 and I am planning to do a bit of tweeting during the event… hope it goes well, lol…

earlier, had lunch with a good friend… we ate at a restaurant that sadly is closing on Saturday… I ordered the most requested item on the menu and enjoyed it very much… my friend had the soup which was very good as well…

had a lovely day…

went for a pedicure first thing with Crystal… then we picked some paint for one of the living room walls… on to the mall for some presents for a new baby girl…

had lunch at the Food Court and then I headed off to have my hair purpled and cut, stopped for gas and returned home for a nap and a bit of sports on TV…

picked up again, and got to hold the baby and visit with her family… finally ran a last errand in the falling snow, and home…

heated up the leftover soup from lunch and watched some great TV…

the only thing that wasn’t lovely was that the polish on one of my toes got smooshed and looks bad, lol…

out for breakfast with Ron at the Assiniboine…

home for some computer discussion and then off for sushi with the girls…

traffic was crazy and we went to Safeway and the Liquor Store on our way home…

think there might have been MSG in the sushi because my head kind of exploded… took until about 7 before it abated:-(…

put together my offering for our BS gathering and got a pic…

had a lovely time with these friends as we visited, shared treats and thoughtful gifts…

good day at work…

lunch out with a couple of friends who I haven’t seen for quite some time… lovely to spend time with them and catch up on their lives…

then after work, headed to a gathering of friends where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner, had a great program and excellent conversation…

on top of all that, my daughter dropped off my Advent calendar which she put together after receiving the insides from the other daughter…

usually it is quite beautiful, but I never did find the covers for my muffin tins, so I numbered 24 small paper bags and put them in a silver snowflake basket which I gave to Crystal yesterday and she filled and delivered today…

woo hoo… I love Advent…

slept on the porch in a swinging couch… it was very lovely… could hear the wind blowing through the trees during the night…

had a wonderful fire on the deck along with glow bracelets and sparklers...

got up, had a wonderful breakfast and then we hit the road to get back for various activities people were involved in…

early morning breakfast of boiled eggs, bacon, toast and fruit...

message on my machine which led to lunch out at The Park Cafe with a good friend… had a lovely visit and then walked home from the park…

discovered bad potatoes and had to throw them out and clean out the drawer they had been in… yucky… barely had to put on the big girl pants…

then I napped off and on for the remainder of the day… it was very windy here but I think the wind has finally died down…

very full day…

wow, been quite a day…

the kids all slept over last night and the adults headed off for a couple of days of snowboarding around eight this morning…

the little boys spent the morning with me and we cleaned the fish tank – something they always did with Grandpa, fed the fish, read books, did a puzzle and watched cartoons…

after which we fed them...

they were picked up just after noon and I headed out for a birthday lunch with my BS buddies…  we had a lovely time after which I went to a purse party with one of the group…  we had to head out of the city for about half an hour and it was a good day for a drive…

we shopped and had lots of fun and returned home slightly poorer, but with some very nice items ordered…

once home, I headed to bed for a nap because the littlest boy was up a few times during the night and I had a very difficult time getting to sleep… and of course waking up at 6:30 didn’t help either, lol…

I had thought that the coming anniversary of George’s death wasn’t going to be that difficult to deal with, but my level of anxiety has been rising since yesterday… I am not looking forward to Tuesday, but also want to commemorate George’s passing…
