really enjoying the ChefsPlate food boxes…

ordering things I wouldn’t usually eat so have been feeling adventurous and appreciating every meal…

tonight’s supper menu featured tilapia… I’ve never tried it before but will certainly have it again…

laid out all the items from the bag on the counter…

followed the directions, which are clearly written out… been testing myself with some ingredients I’m not that fond of… learning to appreciate ginger and even liking lemon rind…

yesterday I watched a video on Facebook of Jacques Pépin demonstrating how to use a knife properly… it was originally from Food52… tonight I did a much better job of chopping after watching it…

was doing really well not grating/slicing myself with the mandolin… 

oh well… won’t take too long to heal, lol…

after my prep work and good job at following the directions my supper was delicious…

will have the leftovers for lunch or dinner tomorrow…

thinking I might see if a friend would like to come over on an evening I am making one of the meals… 

would be nice to share the fun with someone…
