waited till late in the day to fill the stairs with trees and Advent boxes…

should have started earlier because it took a while to get into the spirit, although I did enjoy the Christmas music I put on…

all of the lights worked right off the bat and eventually each box found a home…

the last few ended up by the front door…

the remainder of the forest found its way into the bathroom, the kitchen and onto the dining room table…

starting to feel like the season;-)…

finally got around to changing the living room table…

it has been the same since springtime, yikes…

took a little while to put away the shells, crystals, stones and books, as well as the sarongs that had been on the bottom of each of the four areas…

next, I found the Christmas box that had all the smaller purple, silver, white, and clear ornaments…

filled three squares and then brought down three angels that have special meaning for me to complete the last spot…

I’m pleased with the result although I haven’t quite decided what goes on the top, lol…

a very large, and heavy, box arrived in the mail…

I am sure that it is full of items for my Advent calendar… woohoo…

just yesterday morning I brought down the bag full of boxes which have been flattened…

my housemate will be rebuilding the twenty-four boxes and inserting the various items from my daughter into them…

then I will get the boxes and set them out to be opened one at a time during Advent;-)…

spent time with the fish and their pumps…

each one was cleaned and the water came streaming over beautifully…

I’ve figured out an easier way to clean them now, so the process is much quicker most of the time… I’ll still need to do the longer process once in a while…

but for now I am happy with this new system…

got these two little cuties while grocery shopping the other day…

the tree will join the rest of the forest once they make their way out for their seasonal display…

not sure if the snowperson will join the melt (group of snow people), or make its way onto the Christmas tree…

bought a few tree greens while at the grocery store…

dug out two birch branches, some small white twigs, and a stem of red berries from the shed…

went through a Christmas box and brought out some large ornaments…

last week I’d brought in the planter from the top step so it could thaw out so all the dead plants could be pulled out…

took the planter into the garden, removed all the dead plants and added in the greenery…

after everything was included, it was carried to the front steps…

added some solar lights…

looks good…

I am always interested in the setting for each of the plays we attend at PTE…

this one was neat and it was cool how they changed the setting with tables and chairs…

both funny and thought provoking and the actors changed from one character to another smoothly…

really enjoying this season;-)…

spent Friday morning at the entrance to the zoo as a zoo concierge…

this was my little nook by the doors…

learned lots of tips and tricks from the staff and got a few pictures of some of the Zoo Lights which started that evening…

four layers of clothing was perfect and toward the end of my shift, the top layer came off;-)…
