had fun with flowers Monday morning…
picked up the bouquet on December 29th when we were out grocery shopping;-)…
as there were already flowers in the living room, the bouquet went into the den…
the living room flowers were done, so I rearranged the newer flowers into three little vases…
playing with flowers makes me so happy;-)…

spent a little time with the last of my bouquet subscription flowers…
I had divided the bouquet into two vases, but they were pretty much done, so I collected the last of the good ones and put them into two small vases…
one in the bathroom and one on the pass-through…
I am already missing the weekly beauties…

started the morning yesterday with changing out the birthday bouquet…
took the last of the flowers and distributed them into four small posies…
one went on the kitchen shelf, one into the bathroom, one sat on the stairs waiting to go to the bedroom, and the last went into the den;-)…
I do love to have flowers everywhere;-)…

this morning I had some fun with the bouquet I purchased last Wednesday for my birthday…
I divided it into five small containers…
they went into the bathroom, kitchen, den, and bedroom…
it is always such fun to be able to make new arrangements and then take photos of them;-)…

this morning I spent time with the flowers from March 5th…
last week I took out the carnations and today I divided the remaining mums into three containers…
one went into a glass vessel and made its way onto one of the kitchen counters…
the second container held two and went into the bathroom…
the final batch went into a purple mug on the living room table…
I also added a bunny, a glass egg, a candle, and chocolate mini eggs… Easter is coming after all;-)…
such fun to create something new from a single bouquet…

yesterday I received a beautiful bouquet of hyacinths… I’ve never had them as cut flowers, always in soil…
what a lovely treat…
they are in a vase on the living room table and I am looking forward to them opening and scenting the house…

picked up this week’s bouquet subscription on Thursday…
thanks to my friend, after we stopped at the Wolseley Farmers Market where we picked up fresh veggies, we headed to River Heights to get the bouquet…
it is always fun to choose which bouquet to bring home…
such a treat…

finally took the time to get the bouquet redone with the remaining flowers… the main one had lasted seventeen days;-)…
lots of purple… came out nicely and I expect it will last for another few days…
I am blessed with wonderful friends;-)…

Wednesday was the day… I took the bouquet that came twelve days ago and separated it into three different arrangements…
the roses have been gone for quite a while but the remainder were doing quite well…
the biggest problem had been getting the water into it as the foam really filled up the top so there wasn’t room to easily add water…
started with designing this first arrangement in an oval shaped vase… it came out nicely I think… it is going upstairs into the bedroom…
there were so many greens that I filled another small container with them and added two of the carnations… this one has gone into the bathroom…
finally, the mums and a couple of daisies went into a very small bottle and were put in the den…
so that meant that the orchid collection has returned to the living room table…
flowers everywhere;-)…

dug out an old watering jug so that I could set the vase of flowers into it and fill it with water so the floral foam inside the vase could soak up all the water it needed…
took a while, but after half an hour or so I was able to get it out with a bit of finagling…
it is amazingly difficult to add fresh water to the container every day, lol…
