the moon has been doing some odd things over the last while…

three days before the full moon the moonlight was amazing… it looked as though it was a full moon and this is very odd…

I’ve caught a few interesting photos over the last few days…

this was from the 5:30 on Tuesday morning, taken without my glasses on, lol……

this one was from 7:30 this morning…

the moon is so mesmerizing;-)…

had a bit of a giggle the other day… I was folding towels and facecloths from the dryer…

I looked at this one and thought oh no my favourite towel lost its colour and is more mauve now… and that was okay, purple and all, but odd…

when I picked it up from the other items, I thought that it also shrank…

at that point I realized it was actually a hand towel that came from the lavender farm in Maui… and it did have mauve stripes…

here is a photo of my favourite towel… not sure why it is the favourite as I have other, purple ones, but this is definitely the most used…

and now I am going out to the hot tub with that very towel…

been enjoying some beautiful flowers lately…

the cutest little orchid…

and I’ve been watching and waiting for my amaryllis to grow and bloom… I bought two at the same time and the one my daughter had bloomed beautifully at Christmas time…

mine did nothing for over a month… now it has started to grow in a manner that looks more like a hyacinth… will be interesting to see what happens…

a rose from the beginning of the week…

one of my favourites from the garden this morning… I do love purple, and morning glories…

as I was leaving the office took a few shots of the sky… it had been looking very odd for a good portion of the afternoon… possibly from the smoke from fires…

as I was walking towards the house took the picture of the sun…

it was international chocolate day I decided on chips and chocolate for a snack after work;-)…

odd…

very odd weather day…

got up and went outside first thing… it had been sunny but by the time I got out it was starting to cloud over…

decided to only put out the cushions for the chair I was sitting on… which turned out to be a good plan, lol…

there was so much activity that I couldn’t stay focused on the book I was reading…

  
the bunny stopped by and dealt with a number of dandelions… good thing because I never did manage to get any weeding done…

   
 

the goldfinch family were all over as were the sparrows…

  
there were at least three squirrels in the garden at the same time… beside these gray ones there was one cute little red squirrel…

  
seemed like they all wanted to get as much food as possible before the weather changed…

and change it did… rained, cleared, rained, there was thunder, rained, cleared and so on for most of the day… eventually about four it seemed to have settled down…

  
just a little while ago it got instantly dark followed by thunder and lightning and then the hail came down…

  
yikes…
