had some fun this morning… after going out and shovelling the droppings from the city snow plows…

been planning to colour the letters for these chocolate ornaments that I received from Happy Mail for Chocolate Lovers…

finally got around to it… sadly there was no purple in the paintbox🤪…

I am pleased with how they came out… I used some of my gifts from last year in a slightly different way and enjoyed the time…

now they are on the tree…

this morning there was an extreme cold warning, so I put on two pairs of pants, a vest, my purple Canada Goose jacket, mitts, and headed to the end of the sidewalk…

last night the snow plows cleaned the street so there was quite a pile of snow left at the street end of the sidewalk…

it must have been about two feet deep and two feet across… I was thrilled to discover that it wasn’t full of ice chunks and had not frozen into a solid clump…

once again, they did a great job of the driveway… it didn’t need any touching up at all…

only took ten minutes and I was rather proud of my work…

hoping the mail carrier would bring me some fun mail;-)…

and should there be anyone first footing tomorrow, the sidewalk will be clear;-)…

about an hour ago, the city plowed the front street…

they did a great job of cleaning the end of the driveway, but the sidewalk always gets plowed in…

I put my supper in the oven, got dressed, and went out to shovel the end of the sidewalk…

I have learned over the years that if it isn’t removed immediately, it freezes into a solid block of unmovable ice…

knew that I had a small metal shovel in the garage and where it was, so I found it and cleaned all the clumps up…

went well and got it tidy for anyone who is delivering mail, parcels or treats;-)…
