such a beautiful start to the day…

the sky was gorgeous, the flowers were blooming… and it was warm… although there was just a skiff of snow on the ground…

amazing how fast we can forget the cold weather…

tonight it was great to see the solar lights coming on… in the garden they are shining through the snow…

tonight, as I walked up the street, I took a photo of the road and creek…

there is lots of water out there, which is exciting because that means it is Spring…

yay, yay, yay…

been wearing sandals since last Wednesday (start of Spring and all), so have had to do a bit less walking on the sidewalks because they are still slushy, or icy, or filled with puddles…

there is still a great deal of snow out there, particularly on the lawns and in yards, but it is certainly melting more every day…

Spring flowers bring me so much joy…

on Sunday I picked up some daffodils for the house… as well as a bouquet for the office, a pot of mini roses and the cutest plant covered in blue flowers…

yesterday afternoon we had daffodils delivered at the office as part of the Canadian Cancer Society Daffodil Campaign ...

this was how they looked at 4:30 yesterday…

here is how they looked at 8:30 am this morning…

open and sunshiny…

nice when a campaign raises funds and brightens people’s days…

having gone through a cancer diagnosis, I appreciate every opportunity to support the cause…

the time changed last night as we sprang forward…

for the longest time today I wasn’t exactly sure what time it really was because so many of my devices change themselves…

the tv, the phone, my Fitbit…

finally confirmed the time when putting something into the microwave which isn’t automated…

I like springing forward because it is much easier to change the devices that still need it by moving them forward an hour… going backwards always seems much more difficult, lol…

microwave, stove, car and grandfather clock all updated…
