had a wonderful time Tuesday morning as I wandered through the English and Leo Mol Gardens…

it was the first time in months since I’ve walked to the Park… took a minute to remember which path to take, lol…

the gardens are in full bloom and look amazing…

besides the gorgeous flowers, I was able to watch a number of stunning birds, including hummingbirds, as they flitted about all the flowers…

these two photos have one in each of them, but both are rather blurry and hard to spot…

such a wonderful way to spend the morning;-)…

walked to the Park this morning… before it got too hot…

had a wonderful stroll through the English and Leo Mol Gardens…

they are stunning right now… everywhere I looked there were beautiful flowers…

haven’t been over for a few weeks and was amazed at the growth in that time…

the heat is back on in the lily pond and the lilies are looking much better than the last few years… unfortunately I was there too early to see them completely open for the day…

nice to get some exercise and enjoy the gardens…

what a wonderful evening…

supper out with some very special women…

tried shrimp stuffed eggplant at Blaze Bistro… tasty…

then it was off for pedicures… such fun…

as we left the spa the sky was dark gray… getting into the car it was starting to spit…

by the time I arrived home I’d driven through sheets of rain, loads of lightening and waterlogged streets… that part wasn’t so fun, lol…

as I write this the thunder is rolling around the sky… it looks amazing out there… and is currently sounding like fireworks… yikes…

but my toes are stunning;-)…

been getting up around six so that I can get in a bit of the Olympic coverage before work…

today it was dark enough that I needed to turn on the light in the bedroom, sigh…

then I went down the stairs and saw this…

absolutely stunning sky… took out the screen so that I could get a clear picture… 

made me realize that I’d just opened that window and I had to run and close it so no bugs came in, lol…

yesterday I picked up some gladiolas when I was at the grocery store as a special treat…

although they are white, (I love the purple ones) they are stunning… in the process of checking on the correct spelling I discovered some interesting facts about flowers and birth months, lol…

decided to take a few stems to the office to brighten up my space…

so they travelled in the passenger seat…


a number of colleagues asked if they were from my garden… would be amazing if I could grow something like this in the garden…
