on Saturday I took a photo of the veggie garden arch…
I’ve taken lots, but haven’t felt they were just right…
finally I figured out that I should take one from the front yard, lol…
looks pretty… maybe next year I won’t have the beans growing across the top, where I can’t reach them, lol…

Sunday was International left-handers day…
made me laugh as I thought about the cute magnet that my son-in-law got for me a number of years ago…
it is certainly one of my favourites;-)…
apparently both my beloved and I were gifted…
sad about the kids, lol…

had some fun on Thursday…
had breakfast out and then we went to Home Depot, found plants, pots, and rocks… then it was on to Rona to check for different pots, and back to Home Depot to pick up the first one, lol…
when we got home the plant light that had been ordered had arrived…
at last, everything was potted, put together, and set up;-)…
I think it was a good birthday for the twenty-three year old;-)…

on Thursday, amongst all the shopping, we ran over to IKEA to pick up a lamp…
while we were there we came across a runner that was purple and gray-blue, and just the length I was looking for… on sale, it jumped right off the shelf into my arms…
when I got home I realized that the two ends were a shade of yellow and wondered if it would spoil the look…
but that bit of yellow goes perfectly with the wood on the wall…
it took a while for it to flatten out, but I am very pleased with how it looks…

the dryer has been on the fritz for a week or so… we’d tried a few things, but nothing made a difference…
I sent a message to Hameed Appliance Repair on Wednesday and this morning Ron arrived and had a look…
he was able to replace a piece (even for this old dryer) and got it working;-)…
he advised we needed to change the vent tube, so we went to Home Depot again, lol… we’ve been there a number of times in the last few days…
now the tube has been replaced, the dryer is back in its spot, and laundry is being done;-)…

for whatever reason I didn’t end up planting some sad looking cherry tomatoes I had in the kitchen till very late…
but look at them now;-)…
expect they will be red before you know it… and I can hardly wait…

had some fun the other evening when I watched a webinar on Mylio… it was a beautiful evening so I watched it on the deck…
I had tried the free version, and eventually bought the better one as I have so many pictures on my various pieces of technology…
one of the things it does is combine all your photos and remove duplicates… still working on that one, lol…
it also puts them in a calendar which can make finding them simpler than having to search through a bunch, guessing when the one you want may have been taken…
the photographer on the webinar mentioned that he no longer uses categories, because the program can find basically anything you ask for…
made me think I need to get back in there and play with it more;-)…

spent another night out on the deck;-)…
this time I brought up the air mattress, laid down a comforter to set it on, and filled it up;-)…
then up came more comforters and down came pillows from my bed…
had a good sleep but the top cover of the comforter was wet from the dew… and my glasses were completely fogged over…

last year my daughter sent me wildflower eggs…
this spring I planted one of them into this fairly large pot and have been amazed at all the flowers…
the pot is right next to my Inukshuk…
everyday there are new flowers springing up…
what a treat…
