the red hibiscus is very happy with two or three blooms every day…

the new purple one seems pretty happy as well…

they do much better when it rains than the morning glories, lol…

the morning glories do well, as long as they remain dry…

the mandevilla has so far opened one bloom, but a few are getting ready… they take much longer to open than any of the other plants…

it is great fun first thing each morning to walk around the garden to see what flowers have opened…

I’ve been trying to make it out to the hot tub each day and so far I’ve managed to accomplish that…

currently 10:00 pm is the optimal time… although midnight is also nice…

last night it was so quiet all I heard was a few planes going over, and an ambulance… apparently there were no skaters at the club…

the light from the lane highlighted the snow on the trees, with little puffs on the ends of the branches… so beautiful…

lovely sunrise through the trees this morning…

and then I spotted what I think is going to be the last bloom on the hibiscus for now…

a bit sad as I’m not sure when it might start blooming again, but I will keep checking daily…

I’ve been sure to stop and check it out throughout the day;-)…

this is my 2000th blog post…

seems like forever since that December day when I signed in to WordPress to see how it worked… and wrote the first post… that was five years, five months and eight days ago…

over time I came to the decision that I would post something every day… and since I made that choice, have managed to accomplish that goal…

I have written about many of the processes that were involved to finish and close an estate, daily struggles and small steps in my new journey as I wear those big girl pants…

it has been cathartic…

every day is a new adventure…
