waited till late in the day to fill the stairs with trees and Advent boxes…

should have started earlier because it took a while to get into the spirit, although I did enjoy the Christmas music I put on…

all of the lights worked right off the bat and eventually each box found a home…

the last few ended up by the front door…

the remainder of the forest found its way into the bathroom, the kitchen and onto the dining room table…

starting to feel like the season;-)…

finally got around to changing the living room table…

it has been the same since springtime, yikes…

took a little while to put away the shells, crystals, stones and books, as well as the sarongs that had been on the bottom of each of the four areas…

next, I found the Christmas box that had all the smaller purple, silver, white, and clear ornaments…

filled three squares and then brought down three angels that have special meaning for me to complete the last spot…

I’m pleased with the result although I haven’t quite decided what goes on the top, lol…

I am always interested in the setting for each of the plays we attend at PTE…

this one was neat and it was cool how they changed the setting with tables and chairs…

both funny and thought provoking and the actors changed from one character to another smoothly…

really enjoying this season;-)…

I am absolutely thrilled with the job Vicky’s Alterations did putting zippers in two hoodies…

I had stopped wearing one although it was very comfy… unfortunately, it was just too difficult to take it off…

it looks great and like it always had a zipper in it…

now it is easy to get on and off…

the zipper matched perfectly on the second hoodie…

so happy;-)…

had a delicious dinner last night…

our company chose Chinese food, so I tried to order from our favourite spot, around 5:30…

it took at least ten minutes and numerous attempts to get through… apparently everyone in the city wanted Chinese food too…

and then, the pick up time was an hour and a half, yikes…

but, when we got it, it was as always, delicious 🤤…

chaotic…

had a delightful Thanksgiving…

company arrived and we visited for a few minutes before sitting down to a delicious meal… I even got a lovely gift…

two cute little pumpkins that lit up and moved right over to join the Halloween collection amongst the plants…

a last few chaotic minutes in the kitchen and then dinner…

roast chicken, stuffing, potatoes with cauliflower mashed in, turnip, peas and carrots, gravy and homemade cranberry sauce… everything came out great and the meal was filled with lots of conversation…

we even got a photo with everyone in it… happy for people with long arms, lol…

a lovely evening;-)…

the first water lily flower never did really open since the weather had turned cold and rainy…

the second bud came up and opened… this picture was taken yesterday when it was completely open…

today this looks to be about the last of that one…
