well over a week ago, the lemon tree made its way from the house into the garden…

since then it has been rather irritated with the weather… the leaves were all hanging down as though it was thirsty, but watering it didn’t seem to make any difference…

finally, a few days ago the leaves had perked up and it looks happy again…

the hibiscus has also forgiven me for bringing it outdoors… it had enjoyed being under the cedars but was miffed when it was moved out to the edge of the pond… where it proceeded to get a bit of a sunburn;-(…

the two of them are looking very nice now…

started my day at La Belle Baguette to pick up some bread for lunch… found a few lemon tarts and a couple of chocolate bars to go along with it…

went nicely with the zucchini basil soup at lunch…

snow… not exactly how I wanted to arrive home at the end of the day although they’ve been threatening it for a few days, lol… you will notice that I gave in and actually had socks on;-)…

ended the day with a large bowl of Thai shrimp soup… lovely as all I had to do was warm it up…

yesterday I got to spend time with my son-in-law and younger grandsons…

we checked out supplies for a project my son-in-law is working on and then went out for lunch…

I had fish and chips which were tasty… shared half the chips and saved one fillet for another meal……

we talked about the lemon on the plate and how Grandpa had laughed when the youngest bit into one for the first time…

didn’t get any photos of the guys but just managed to take this photo of the dessert – gummy worms, Oreo cookie dirt, whipped cream and chocolate pudding – before it was gobbled up…

then, we stopped at a store I rarely shop in, to look for sandals for the youngest…

and, I found some leggings and a t-shirt;-)…

the funny thing is that last week my other son-in-law texted me a picture of the same leggings that he saw on a person walking through a mall which he thought I would like, lol…
