spent some quality time with the fish over the last few days;-)…
pumps were scrubbed out and tank glass was cleaned…
I have started to feed them every other day to see if they might eat some of the algae on the rocks…
not sure if they are mad at me or not, lol…

Tuesday we went to Costco and I got a new set of attachments for the hose…
sadly, the current attachment has been leaking for awhile and the hose doesn’t expand without an attachment…
hoping that all three will work well… fingers crossed…

so, on Thursday, the Manitoba Hydro inspector came to check the installation of the new furnace…
sadly, we didn’t pass inspection…
as he worked he shared what he was looking at and pointed out a few issues which he felt needed to be corrected…
once he was finished everything got written up and I had to sign the paperwork…
apparently the furnace company has thirty days to make the adjustments at which time I have to call and have them back to test it again…
the good news is that none of the items mean the furnace isn’t working, and because we previously had a high efficiency furnace we don’t have to have any adjustments made to the gas hot water heater until it needs to be replaced;-)… phew…
now on to the adjustments and recheck…

yesterday we went to Superstore for some groceries…
while we were in the checkout line I spotted these cute little heart-shaped containers…
they had no price tag, but I decided I needed them, lol… they ended up being about $4.00…
today I filled some of them with a few treats for a gathering of friends…
they are so cute and useful with their little covers…
and fun…

spent some time topping up all three fish tanks…
the water is evaporating at a fast rate…
it seems like only a week ago that I had added a bit of water to each of them…
I guess the good news is that the humidity level in the house is good, lol… and the pumps are much quieter the higher the water level;-)…

such fun on Wednesday as I went through my Nora Roberts book collection…
I reorganized all the books in alphabetical order and went through the trilogies and other items in the stockpile…
and then I ordered a few books to complete some of the trilogies…
can hardly wait for them to arrive;-)…

on Wednesday I went out for my hot tub much earlier than usual… rain was predicted for later in the evening and overnight…
I don’t like being in the rain so I was pleased to get out and back in before it started…

I have a small collection of heart-shaped objects and the other day I bought a new bowl to add to the collection…
I have really enjoyed using it;-)…
it is slightly larger but goes perfectly with the other three heart-shaped bowls I already have…
for the month of February I’ve been trying to use them as much as possible❤️…

had a fun time yesterday with my buddy…
we went clothes shopping and I got a beautiful lightweight purple sweater with pearls and silver dots on it… and it was on sale…
after that we stopped and picked up a few groceries before going to the Good Earth for the lunch buffet…
I got to visit with the koi for a few moments…
I even walked up from the end of the street, lol…
then there was a nap;-)…

yesterday I picked up tulips when I was at the grocery store… I was very happy about that…
when I got home they went into a single large vase, but this morning I took the time to separate them into four containers…
one is on the stairs to go up to the bedroom…
one has gone onto the kitchen counter…
one is in the bathroom…
and one is next to where I sit to watch TV in the Den…
what a lovely treat… flowers are what help me get through the doldrums of February;-)…
