recently I purchased a few pairs of wide leg pants…
of course they had to go to be shortened…
it only took a few minutes for them to be pinned…
one of the pairs is cargo pants… I am excited to have them for volunteering… it will be great to have a few more pockets to pop things into, lol…
just got them back and they look great…
excited to wear them at my next volunteer shift at The Leaf;-)…

I don’t know about you, but when I go to clean out a closet or drawer, sometimes it works and other times I seem unable to cull anything…
today I was successful in dealing with my bedroom closet… I’ve realized that I don’t really need 6 pairs of dress pants or 15 tops for work, lol…
this closet is very small so anything I can do to make room will be very helpful;-)…
I packed up twenty pieces and then reorganized the space they opened up…
yay for me;-)…

wearing those big girl pants a lot recently…
met with my finance guy and reviewed my portfolio… we discussed when I might need to begin removing funds from my RRSPs and how long the money will last…
it is complicated as the whole thing is a guessing game about how long I will live and need the money…
thinking how blessed I am that I have these problems as there are so many out there whose struggle with finances is much more difficult…
sure do miss my beloved during these times… feels a lot less stressful when there are two of you dealing with these issues…

lovely day, doing very little and enjoying every minute, particularly the sun streaming through the windows…
had some fun making one of my ChefsPlate meals for lunch…
even managed to slice the pocket properly in the chop…very tasty too… I think I will use tarragon again…
made me think about the clothes I wore yesterday… was sure they had pockets so I had somewhere for my phone and business cards…
and I happily discovered that my Palm Pilot was working again…
it seemed completely dead a few days ago but apparently the on/off button was stuck…
pleased to have this day to recover…

having a problem with my pants… they are getting very loose…
not long ago I had to pin up a pair at work because I was afraid they might fall down…
ones that did fit better are now getting quite loose as well…
think I may need to go out and get a couple of pairs of smaller ones although I do worry whether I can actually fit into the next smallest size…
continue to have more energy and my glucose levels are levelling out…
a few days ago I spoke with my health care insurance providers and discovered that they need a letter from my doctor and will then cover the cost of the strips, which are expensive… looking forward to getting the letter from the doctor when I see her next week… I also need her to include a request for an appointment with a dietitian…
seems like you need a doctor’s letter to get most anything from the insurance company…
