had a great little wander around the garden this morning…

the mandevilla is getting ready to bloom… it hasn’t done that well so I am very happy that there are finally buds, at least 8 of them… mandevillas take a long time for the flowers to open and they are very architectural…

these fushia are a different colour than my usual red and purple ones… two of those have already died… too much rain I think… will see how these ones do…

these daisies are in the grass in the neighbour’s yard… I think they may have travelled over from my garden and they look very cute… glad I caught them before they are mowed down… the daisies in our garden have travelled across the yard at least three or four times over the years…

spent time reading and watching these two squirrels at the feeder… they’ve been spending lots of time eating and fighting over who gets to stay there… most of yesterday they were tossing one another off the feeder… couldn’t tell if they were taking turns or if the same one was always left on it… today they seem to have come to an agreement and have been sharing the space…
