had a lovely time on this warm day…

started with an early morning F1 sprint race… it was too funny, because I slept in till seven which is quite unusual and the race started at 4:30, but I had PVRed it, lol…

I was outside for a good portion of the day and enjoyed the fish and morning glories…

later in the afternoon I watched diving, including some outdoors from twenty metres… yikes…

it is so high that they enter the water feet-first with their arms at their sides…

I do enjoy watching various sports;-)…

had fun in the Tropical Biome today checking on all the fruit…

saw cacao pods just beginning to grow…

also spotted jackfruit, star fruit, two bunches of bananas, and many breadfruit…

also spotted flowers on the mango, but a gardener advised the tree is too young to produce fruit, so likely they will die off…

I learn something new every time I am in the space;-)…

it is interesting how some days the flowers put on a show and other days they look ragged and very sad…

today the pansies next to the house were very happy…

just a few days ago I was thinking they were completely done…

only one morning glory was open, but it was lovely…

still waiting for the mandevilla and hibiscus to bloom;-)…

lots to look forward to…

a delightful day in the garden… the weather was perfect… sunny, but not too hot…

I moved around the garden, following the shade and reading my book;-)…

although, there were constant interruptions as sparrows, squirrels, and bunnies kept me looking up from my reading…

the sparrows have dug holes in the spaces between the stepping stones along the edge of the pond… two or three of them are at least an inch or so deep… the birds really enjoy dust baths…

one squirrel spent ages trying to figure out how to get to the seeds in the squirrel-proof feeder…

happily it never figured it out…

not sure if there were one or two bunnies, lol… one spent quite some time under the bird feeder amongst the iris leaves scoffing down any fallen seeds…

and maybe the same one, or another, having a nap in the grass…

lovely to have so much activity in the space…

when I turned it over, it had blossom end rot, sigh…

this morning we drove to Miss Millie’s Flower Farm and had a lovely time in the fields…

my adventure buddy gathered flowers, and I gathered photographs with my Nikon… great fun for both of us…

of the 125 photos I took, I was very pleased with about 75…

the weather was perfect, overcast and cool, and there were few bugs… we had been there in August of 2022 and the mosquitoes had been voracious at that time…

the fields were not as far along due to the weather but it is a beautiful place to spend time in… so happy I remembered that taking pictures was more fun for me than gathering flowers;-)… and nice to get the camera out for a change;-)…
