really happy to have Shadow back at home…

she did bring good luck to my grandson when he took his driving test and passed on the first try…

had to giggle yesterday when I backed out of the garage and the side mirrors weren’t set in their normal location… problem was that I couldn’t see enough to reset them…

when I got to the office I was able to see and set them back to what worked for me…

filled her up tonight on my way home…

even got her windows cleaned…

been searching for something to wear on my hands that would keep them warm when I’m driving… none of my gloves have kept my fingers warm… still haven’t found anything, but last night and tonight I drove with my bare hands because it is so warm…

zero… a few days ago in was minus 30… crazy weather, lol…

just yesterday I was heading to the office after an appointment and was enjoying the absolutely beautiful sky… it was a gorgeous blue and had some lovely clouds which were pink from the morning sunlight…

of course I didn’t get a picture but enjoyed every moment as I drove toward downtown…

did get this shot of my scarf as I was sitting in the waiting room…

love this dragonfly…

later in the day as I was driving home another beautiful sky was visible… for many nights recently I have been going home in the dark so it was quite a moment to see a second lovely sky… and again I enjoyed it even without photos, lol…

I do miss riding with my buddies which gave me ample opportunities to take pictures…

also enjoyed the sweet view of my bedroom as I got ready for bed…

those special moments make the day;-)…

drove home in this beast…

my daughter picked up my car from the office and left me hers… thankfully she backed it into the spot so it would be easy for me to drive out… happily I made it home safely…

my grandson was taking his driving test this afternoon and my car was a better size, particularly for the parking portion of the test…

very excited to hear that he passed on the first try… well done…

yesterday I took a picture of a chubby squirrel sitting on the top of the neighbour’s garage…

chattering away up there as I was taking the picture… never noticed the amount of white on them before… although maybe this one is just old, lol…

and this morning, as I headed out to the garage, I thought I saw something, but it wasn’t until I started backing out of the driveway that I actually saw the bunny running toward the road… critters always bring a smile to my face… well, maybe not spiders…

when I closed the garage door on my arrival home I noticed the hoarfrost had created some patterns on the window…

reminded me of a visit to a friend’s house a few years ago where I got some stunning pictures in her garage…

looking forward to seeing her before too long as she has a new addition to her family who I am very excited to meet…

sunshine all day long today and yesterday, and it wasn’t freezing cold either…

went grocery shopping with my daughter and picked up some beautiful flowers…

they make me feel happy…

and I cannot believe it but the never ending orchid has a new bud on it;-)…

lovely day, doing very little and enjoying every minute, particularly the sun streaming through the windows…

had some fun making one of my ChefsPlate meals for lunch…

even managed to slice the pocket properly in the chop…very tasty too… I think I will use tarragon again…

made me think about the clothes I wore yesterday… was sure they had pockets so I had somewhere for my phone and business cards… 

and I happily discovered that my Palm Pilot was working again…

it seemed completely dead a few days ago but apparently the on/off button was stuck… 

pleased to have this day to recover…

this has been a hugely busy and all-consuming week, ending in a excellent event today…

the day went beautifully and it was a great example of a well-oiled team…

finished with getting lost and having my colleagues find me and get me home…

this rose, from one of the centrepieces, is a wonderful reminder of such amazing women with whom I spend my days…

this is so not how I wanted to end a very long day…

been outside and cleaned out the pipe, but the furnace is not happy…

waiting for a call back from the service people… 

hope I get to bed before tomorrow’s very early start;-(…

have now spoken with the furnace doctor who said it should be fine as the heat has started to come through… apparently all the blowing snow has caused lots of problems… 

even if the furnace stops working in the morning it shouldn’t get much below 55 by the end of the day…

good news, I guess…

been thinking of a number of people in my circles who are going through difficult times…

as I drove to work this morning I was behind a Cube car, which brought back lots of memories of a former colleague and friend…

so many friends are dealing with their own or their family members’ health problems… busyness has kept me from giving them the attention I would like to…

a number of folk I know are trying to figure out their working conditions…

and still others are contemplating their living situations…

so much to be thinking about…

been a crazy busy day… but lots of fun…

had to giggle at lunchtime when I realized I forgot the hot portion of my lunch in the fridge at home, but I did bring the veggies, lol…

enjoyed taking photos throughout the day… a treat to spend time with my camera…

my grandson met me at the office and on our drive home we watched a bendy bus go by…

he took this shot for me… bendy busses make me smile whenever I see them…

on our slow drive home – it was very slippery and every car was moving at a snail’s pace – he caught numerous Poke balls and a few Pokémon as well…

he shovelled, I cooked, and when he was done, sent him home with dinner when his dad picked him up on his way home from work…

then I spotted sprouts in the Morning Glory can…
