a few days ago my Fitbit wouldn’t connect to my phone… very odd…
then, all of a sudden, the screen went black… I put it on the charger, but that didn’t make a difference…
eventually I went online and found instructions on how to restart the Charge 5…
I followed the instructions and put it on the charger overnight…
happily, it worked perfectly after that;-)…

spent a bit of time this morning trying to find something green to wear for St. Patrick’s day…
apparently I do not have any green clothing, lol…
in the end I wore this beautiful scarf that my daughter brought me from her trip to Italy last year;-)…

Friday’s project was to clean out the pumps on each of the three fishtanks…
it always slips down towards the bottom of the list, but once I get going, it isn’t that difficult, and doesn’t take that long either…
usually I only do one or two, but this time I did all of them at the same time…
the pumps are now running beautifully, and I topped up the water in each one… usually I do the topping up on Mondays, but was just a bit sooner this time;-)…

the weather has been a bit crazy lately… it was warm and then it changed and has been cold and windy for the last while…
today I took some photos…
the snow on the driveway had melted a bit and after the wind today, it looks like glass all the way up… hoping the car will still be able to make it without sliding down…
and in the backyard the new snow has put a slight blanket over the decks…
enough already;-)…

I’ve been trying something new with my orchids…
the ones in the den have been getting buds and have also been sitting in water, sort of by accident, lol, so I decided to try that for all the other ones…
we will see what happens…

today’s project was to get all the tax documents gathered, scanned, and uploaded to the accountant portal…
seemed like a simple piece of work, but…
that business of changing my email address keeps biting me in the butt…
because it was changed, and currently, my new email isn’t available on the main computer, it involved a number of phone calls to get help…
eventually I was able to get into the portal, and after scanning all of the documents, upload everything…
I am always so pleased when everything is completed and on its way…
now to wait to hear back from them…

when the cleaners were here last week, I heard a crash and one of them brought me this angel… in three pieces…
it was put on the kitchen counter and my housemate first glued on one piece, left it for a few days and added the other piece…
he is much more precise when putting things together, lol… reminds me of my beloved;-)…
she is now put together nicely, although missing a hand, but we haven’t found that piece…
still, she has joined her sisters on the bedroom shelf…

turned the mattress and changed the sheets on Sunday morning…
it is feeling much springier, lol…
also put away the big, heavy, sun and stars blanket and brought out one of the afghans I made a number of years ago;-)…

the fireplace made its way to the garage on October first…
it stayed there for quite awhile… during that time my housemate put it on a few for sale sites…
there were very few inquiries, but we weren’t in any rush to get rid of it…
recently, a woman came, measured it, and arranged to pick it up when she found some strong backs to help with lifting/carrying, lol…
she arrived a few days later, with a helper, and with my housemate’s assistance, got it into her vehicle…
its new home will be at her dad’s cottage where it will be installed outdoors;-)…

sprang forward this morning, lol…
it is so much easier these days… most electronics in the house automatically change…
now the only items I have to change are the stove, microwave, coffee pot, and grandparent clock…
I didn’t mind the process even before then because it was simple to change a phone, or anything else, by moving it forward, unlike changing it backwards in the Fall…
