really looking forward to the weekend… and it is only Tuesday…

went to aquasize tonight and had the teacher who really works you… I was exhausted but did make it through the whole class without giving up…

tomorrow there will be a full moon… usually means more phone calls, walk ins and odd happenings… 

took this shot of the moon on Saturday… picture doesn’t do it justice…

  
a few days ago I took this picture of the most adorable glass frames…

  

I know a number of people who would love these, lol…

started my day with blood work for my doctor’s appointment next week…

it was very foggy on the drive to the clinic…

  
this picture came out very clear considering how foggy it was, lol…

apparently the longer you press on the spot where your blood was taken the less bruising there will be…

  
not too bad today…

been a bit worried about how my blood sugar is doing so will be glad to see the results of this test…

we tried to go to aquasize but it was cancelled… on the way home I was fantasizing about either pho soup or Clay Oven for my supper…

but instead I made chicken and spinach on a whole wheat pita and warmed up some of the zucchini soup…

  

how healthy am I…

of course I did have a small bowl of chips after the healthy dinner, lol…

today the towels from Turkey arrived…

they are what is used in the Hammam… my daughter had purchased some when she was in Turkey and discovered how absorbent they are… made me think how great they would be for taking to aquasize…

currently my towel takes up most of my bag, and this one will take up about a quarter of the space…

can hardly wait to go to the pool and see how they work…

sat eating my breakfast looking at Love which my beloved made with his scroll saw… he was very talented…

been going through a bit of poor me… missing George and feeling a bit down with all the health stuff…

on our way home tonight we saw some spectacular sun dogs…

so tired I wasn’t sure I would make it through aquasize class, but I did… then I made some soup with squash and chicken and onions… very nice…

been a long day… hard to get out of bed as I felt very tired…

on top of that it snowed today… thankfully it melted as it hit the ground…

usually we get our first snow on Halloween…

dark and overcast all day… bit of a downer…

really thought about putting the meat in the crockpot, although I wasn’t sure how long it would take so I decided not to…

when I got home I got the pot with my dinner in it all organized, but didn’t turn it on… still not sure of the new stove so I didn’t want to be worrying about whether the liquid might be evaporating and burning up…

after aquasize I put it on and then watched some tv while it was cooking…

should really have simmered a bit longer, but after an hour or so I had some and it was good…

started the day very early and the moon was bright…

IMG_8857-0.JPGtonight as I was heading to aquasize I took this shot of the sky… very nice…

IMG_8858.JPGwas very careful not to do any twisting there after last week… from Friday to Sunday my back was in bad shape… if I sat for any length of time I could barely walk… laying down helped a bit but then when I got up it would still bother me… luckily I was able to take it easy and by Sunday evening it was much better…

so I was extra careful tonight to not twist…

hope it works out okay… guess I will see tomorrow…

woke up this morning and got dressed with the appropriate clothes for yoga…

downstairs I looked at all the items for the soup and realized it was Thursday, not Friday… a bit disappointing…

soup was great… everyone enjoyed it and there is a bit left to have after yoga tomorrow…

after work had a twenty minute nap and got ready for aquasize…

was completely exhausted when we finished… not good to leave such a long period between classes…

lovely treats today…

over the noon hour went to the Farmers’ Market located downtown with a colleague and enjoyed our time together… and all the great produce we found…

I picked up baby potatoes, dill, yellow and green beans, baby cucumbers, some fun breads, bison meat and peas… I was so happy about the peas because I was thinking they might already be finished… I love peas…

last thing was a bouquet of yellow lilies which I picked up for my daughter…

was picked up by my friend and we went to aquasize which was another treat…

went out for supper and another friend who I haven’t seen for ages met us there…

as we were getting into the car spotted a cute little bunny… then home for tea and a visit…
