on some of the colder days, I’ve been wrapping up in a blanket when I sit and read in the living room…
Ive been using the crocheted one that I made a few years ago and just recently found a post telling me that I finished it two years ago on February 7, 2021…
it is very cozy and I enjoy using it…

my bouquet subscription has come to an end and I came across this post I had written about my birthday bouquet…
I had an enjoyable time redoing it… this is how it looked on my birthday…
I removed the roses once they were spent…
it was time to do something new and this is what it became on May fourth…
used a cute teapot and a small glass for the next life of the bouquet…
added some of the statice to a container that was already filled…
and finally, used the container the flowers came in to set a cute new plant I recently purchased…
it is always such fun to change out the flowers as the bouquet ages, lol…
some great memories;-)…

spent a little time preparing some Easter treats for my grandkids…
was watching tv and saw a cute bunny made from a paper lunch bag, and dug some out of the storeroom…
it was such fun crafting them… not hard, but enjoyable… filled them with a few goodies, found ribbons and made nametags…
sorry I can’t show you what is inside, lol, but who knows who might see this post;-)…
they look very sweet and are waiting to be picked up and delivered for next Sunday…

time with friends… had a wonderful afternoon with a very crafty group of women…
there was knitting, colouring, collage-ing, crocheting, eating, drinking, and lots of conversation…
my project…
it is going to be a blanket for my bed… I worked on it while I was there and when I got home…
this morning as I was crocheting away I realized that it was way too long, sigh… would have been great for someone seven feet tall, lol…
so I unraveled it and started over…
this time it will be about four feet wide which should work nicely on the bed…
back to crocheting;-)…
