today I went out for a meal before my shift at The Leaf…

myself!!!
had the falafel breakfast, with tomatoes instead of hash browns…
it has become one of my favourites…
then it was off to The Leaf… way to go me;-)…

yesterday saw Prairie Nurses at PTE… it was funny and entertaining…
first show of the season and there was a full house…
beforehand we went out for lunch at the Falafel Place…
had some delicious falafel, and salad with hot cooked onions and garlic as part of the dressing… wasn’t sure how I would like it, but it was delicious…
enjoyed the show and had a lovely snack of Callebaut chocolate and some almonds…
walked home from the end of the street and got this shot of the many bare trees…

laughed out loud this morning when I popped outside to look at the morning glories before leaving for work…
because of course there were four of them opening… not sure how the plant knows which days I will not be home for the day…
at lunch walked over to the Farmers Market with a colleague and brought back some corn on the cob and tzatziki…
had already taken out falafel for my dinner, so decided to add corn to the menu…
made some corn chowder with a whole wheat pita filled with tzatziki, spinach, tomatoes and baked falafel…
delicious… learning to enjoy whole wheat… much better than when I first tried it, lol… continue to eat in a more healthy manner…

early this morning I got a picture of the large morning glory blossom…
thank goodness it’s Friday… looking forward to seeing one open completely tomorrow when I will be here all day…
more dahlia blooms… very pretty…
other excitement was that I spotted a frog in the pond… let’s hope this one stays healthy…
been very hot here for the last three or four days… supposed to be the same tomorrow as well…
been eating fish a lot to help raise my good cholesterol, and tonight I had falafel in cute little cheese buns which I got yesterday at the Farmers Market… also put some of the tzatziki on them… cute and very tasty…
hard to believe there were only four working days, cause I am quite tired…
think I am going to enjoy these next two days filled with quiet and peace…
