fun with morning glories today…
as I was taking photos of this blue morning glory, a cute little western honey bee showed up looking for a snack…
happily, I got a few nice pics…
then, later in the day, the morning glories shrivelled up into themselves in a very interesting way, so took a few cool photos…

it is interesting how some days the flowers put on a show and other days they look ragged and very sad…
today the pansies next to the house were very happy…
just a few days ago I was thinking they were completely done…
only one morning glory was open, but it was lovely…
still waiting for the mandevilla and hibiscus to bloom;-)…
lots to look forward to…

yesterday I received two sets of stickers made from my photos, that had been ordered a while ago…
after cleaning off one that came on the computer, thanks to rubbing alcohol and an old facecloth, I added one of each ;-)…

early this morning I picked my first pepper of the season…
looks like another two or three are starting… funny thing is I don’t really love green peppers, lol…
the morning glories are blooming all along the deck… up till today they were only flowering in one spot…
they remind me of when George would bring me pictures of whichever one was blooming every morning when I spent six weeks in the hospital…
it was so sweet…
over lunch we went to the Farmers Market and I got a great bag full of treats…
radishes, tiny cucumbers, peas, new potatoes and yellow beans (which we ate before I took the picture)…
summer is so precious…

rained all day long… spent the time reading, watching PVRed shows and napping…
cooked a roast and made coleslaw for dinner with the kids…
looked dreary…
took the hibiscus outside during the day yesterday, but today it was only around 6 for most of the day so kept it inside, although I’m sure it would have liked the rain…
the morning glories are starting to twist around each other… hope that I can get them separated when it is finally time to plant them, lol…
not ready to put the water hyacinth outside because, although they are serious weeds in the south, they don’t like cold and will die off if the weather is too chilly for them…
certainly lots of green around…
