I’ve been taking an online iPhone photography course…
it has been excellent so far and I have enjoyed practising a few of the things I’ve learned… and I even got some pretty good pictures of the fish today…
happily, I’ve also realized that I already know many of the tricks of the trade…
over the last week more and more of my Google Home products have gone offline…
at first it was 2 tp- link plugs, then a switch, then more of the plugs and finally my Geeni cameras… made me crazy…
and then the printer stopped because it couldn’t find the wifi…
my grandson got the printer going… yay…
the suggestion was that I should delete and then add all of the products back in… I did not want to do that… my plan was to call my provider to see if there was an issue with my internet…
was waiting for another call so didn’t get around to contacting the provider…
just for fun, I went in and turned off my wifi and then turned it back on…
getting ready for bed, I went to turn one of the plugs off manually only to discover that its light was blue, not the orange that meant it wasn’t connected…
two or three weeks ago my pretty Samsung Earbuds just stopped working… all of a sudden they wouldn’t pair with my phone… of course they were not under warranty… the service department suggested I have them repaired locally but the local people advised they would have to send them away… it was going to cost $55 if they sent them away and I decided not to have them repaired… and it wasn’t clear how much the repair might cost…
I thought about it for quite a while and did a ton of research before deciding on these ones…
I want them mainly for phone calls which meant there weren’t that many options and ones that would be comfortable in my ears…
I finally ordered them on Wednesday, and they were delivered on Friday;-)…
they were easy to pair with my iPhone and music sounds good…
been wishing that I didn’t have to climb behind the planter every time I need to turn the waterfall on and off…
I decided to look online to see if there was something I could use outside to control the plug…
I was so excited to find a KASA TP-Link outdoor plug… KASA is part of my Google Home system, and the plug was reasonably priced…
my grandson picked it up for me and it was easy to add to my Google Home… well, he added it, lol… I can even add another item to the plug as it has two outlets…
this is going to make dealing with the waterfall so much easier, and I’ve been having fun turning it on and off;-)…
this, after over an hour on the phone with my son-in-law as he climbed into my desktop and laptop to sort out the issue…
this new printer leaves the paper tray open about two inches… the strangest thing I have seen…
but it prints perfectly using the laptop and the iPhone… still not so happy when the main computer gives the order… we may have to delete the driver and reinstall, but it will do for now…
