met up with my adventure buddy and we went for a stroll through the English and Leo Mol Gardens at the Park…

it was an overcast day, but the rain held off…

there were gardeners working everywhere to keep the space beautiful…

here are a few things I took photos of…

we spotted a hummingbird and watched it for a few minutes amongst the purple flowers…

had a break on our bench before enjoying a bit of lunch at the Park Cafe where I had some tasty falafels…

it was spitting when I left the Park…

managed over 12,000 steps for the day, woohoo…

finally got my feet in the water…

we went down to watch the sunset on Friday and I took a little stroll along the rocky beach…

the water was calm and I found a spot with a bit of sand, so I took off my shoes and stepped into the clear and fairly warm water…

ahhh…

on Monday morning we went to the Park Café for breakfast with my BS buddies and then took a stroll around the English and Leo Mol Gardens…

my son-in-law and I walked over and met the rest of the group inside the restaurant… it was wonderful to finally get there, as it had been a long time… breakfast was tasty and my favourite server mentioned how she had missed seeing me😊…

it was the first time I’ve been back in the Gardens for at least a few years and they were full of colour and blooms…

what a lovely way to usher in the week…

had a lovely walk this morning…

exactly a week since I took the same route on a freezing morning… quite a difference today…

today I parked much further down the street and enjoyed the stroll to and from my appointment, where my doctor was pleased with my blood pressure, A1C and heart…

looking forward to more walks in nicer weather…

walked to the Park this morning… before it got too hot…

had a wonderful stroll through the English and Leo Mol Gardens…

they are stunning right now… everywhere I looked there were beautiful flowers…

haven’t been over for a few weeks and was amazed at the growth in that time…

the heat is back on in the lily pond and the lilies are looking much better than the last few years… unfortunately I was there too early to see them completely open for the day…

nice to get some exercise and enjoy the gardens…

excellent day…

walked to the Park and met a friend for breakfast… nearly drove because it has been quite slippery, but I decided to take enough time to walk slowly…

  
it was above zero and beautiful weather for a stroll… 

one of the newer pieces of technology that I really appreciate is the countdown timer at stop lights… rather than just having a flashing red hand you can see how many seconds you have left to make it across the street…

 
really appreciate this particularly at the corner by the Park… not nearly as stressful to get across the road…

so excited to look outside and see my solar dragonflies lit up…

  
haven’t been on for months so it means the sun is getting stronger… woohoo…

and just a few minutes before I had looked out the window to see this…

  
spectacular… not five minutes later I walked by and the sky was normal blue…

nature is really putting on a show these days, lol…
