what a treat;-)…
last Saturday I was invited out for lunch… it was cold and overcast, so a nice bright spot in a dull day…
we went to Sushi Cushi and had a lovely meal… we often over order, but this time we got just the right amount…
a fun time and I enjoyed every single bite;-)…

had some delicious food today;-)…
for breakfast we made waffles with bacon, raspberries, maple syrup, and whipped cream… they were delicious and a treat…
for lunch I was treated to a lovely “Tea for Two” fundraiser from St. Charles Headingley UC…
I had a portion, including my favourite cream cheese and cherry, and have some left for later…
supper was smoked goldeye with coleslaw…
lovely treats for Mother’s Day… and it was good that I got all my steps in today;-)…

one of the projects that has been in the works was to replace the cutting board in the kitchen…
many weeks ago, the board was cut to the right size… it was a little thick and needed to be sanded a bit…
time went by… then it was sanded, but needed to be oiled… the oil was purchased…
it finally got two layers of oil and made its way into the slot under the counter…
looks amazing;-)… maybe too pretty to cut on, lol…

yesterday my day was filled with lots of treats…
in the morning I received a lovely invitation to lunch and time at a spa…
at noon a colleague treated me to lunch… it was tasty…
and in the evening one of my BS buddies brought us chocolate from Florida and fresh baked cookies…
I certainly am blessed in so many ways…
