on Monday, I had a lovely visit with my sister-in-law who was in from Calgary for the weekend…
it is always fun to catch-up in person…
and she brought me this beautiful amethyst bracelet…

a few weeks ago I ordered a couple of new bands for my Fitbit… they arrived and were excellent…
one is very fancy, but needed to be adjusted… a few days ago I cut off a portion of it, but it was still too large…
yesterday I tried again and now it fits perfectly and looks great;-)…
very snazzy…

we’ve had a lovely young woman working with us for the last three months… she has been seconded from RBC and we have enjoyed having her as part of the team… the time has flown by…
a few days ago she brought gifts for everyone, as well as kind notes for each member of staff… my bracelet was purple…
today we celebrated her time with us with cupcakes and presents… there were the cutest little snow people rings on top of the cupcakes so we took a group photo;-)…

today I stopped in at the Apple Store on my way home from work…
for the last few days Siri has just started to talk even though I am not touching the phone… bit creepy actually…
I’d also had a strange message on the screen saying that Apple had found some viruses…
right away I closed all the apps on the phone, but between that and the Siri chats, felt like maybe I should get it checked out…
got in to see someone at the Store within minutes and they ran a few diagnostics and it appears the phone is fine… they did wonder if I might be saying something that sounds like Hey Siri which would then make her respond…
they also suggested turning the phone off every day so it could have a rest;-)… didn’t know it needed breaks too, lol…
then I found the watch repair section at Sears and finally got the links taken out of the purple band for my Charge 2…
came out very nice… now I have 3 choices for bracelets to wear with it;-)…
