on Sunday I finished the last of a large collection of books by Fern Michaels…
I had received the first of two boxes and a bag full of them at the beginning of August…
I have enjoyed every single one of the fifty-four and was a bit sad that I’ve finished them all… I can’t even think of how many hours I’ve spent in the garden and the living room devouring them, lol…
not half an hour later, the next book by JD Robb was delivered, woohoo;-)…
excited to read this and all the other books that have been on the sidelines since I started the Fern Michaels collection;-)…

made a trip to share some of our pass-alongs…
the trunk and some of the backseat were filled with items that will lighten the house, lol…
and then we found some books and a cute little casserole pan to bring home… I think it will be a perfect size…
we did leave more than we brought home, lol…

finally made it to GLOBOsapiens Used Bookstore, as a number of friends had told me about it…
took a box full of books that I had read, which have been rattling around in the trunk for weeks, and came home with a box full of books that I have been looking for…
they only take cash and luckily I had some on me… and, because I brought books in, most of the ones I purchased were half price…
I’ve been looking for the JD Robb In Death series for quite some time so was thrilled when I found twenty to add to my library woohoo…
now to add them to my list so I know which ones I have and which ones I still need;-)… and figure out where they are going to go…

was very happy on Sunday afternoon when a new supply of Fern Michaels books arrived…
I was on the last two books, so it was perfect timing;-)…
I also got a container of homemade potato salad, woohoo…
took a bit of time on Monday to add them to the stair library;-)… before setting them on the steps, I had to sort them in order…
lots of great reading ahead;-)…

today I added a couple of books to my stair library…
picked them up at a Little Free Library on my morning walk…
both are from some of my favourite authors;-)…
this was a new-to-me library as I took a slightly different route today…

so excited when I got a text from my book-buddy saying she was on the way over with a couple of bags of reading material for me…
woohoo…
it was a drop and run as she had places to be, lol…
and then I restocked the stair library;-)…

we went to the oldest grandson’s other set of grandparents the other day for supper and had a lovely visit…
before we left I had access to their library where I got a bunch of books by an author that I had just discovered – Fern Michaels… the shelves looked much tidier before all the books came out, lol…
she also had two new Nora Roberts books I have been waiting for…
we filled a grocery box, woohoo…
I added them to the stair library in order and now I have reading material for the remainder of the summer;-)…
what a wonderful treat;-)… once the Olympics are over I will get down to some serious reading…

since the girls were born, I’ve been giving them books for birthdays and holidays… I’ve done the same for my grandkids, but now we’ve worked up to gift cards as it isn’t clear what they might like to read…
now I don’t really have anyone to buy books for, but I have a new neighbour who has just turned two, so I’m getting books for him now…
it is such fun to buy little people books…
